I attended Stephen F. Austin State, married, had one son, moved to San Antonio for 18 years, divorced, remarried, moved back to Houston for 10 years, then moved to Texas City and then to La Marque. I never stopped taking classes--I love learning new things. I write and publish how-to books, short story collections and novels, which I sell on Amazon.com. From 2006 to 2011 I taught interior decorating, wedding planning and self-publishing classes at College of the Mainland Continuing Education Dept. I also enjoy writing humorous short stories and have had 5 published by Chicken Soup for the Soul. My husband, Bob, passed away in February, 2012, after 24 years of marriage. In October of 2012, I moved to League City, TX, to downsize to a smaller house in a bigger city. I'm having a great time learning to fly an airplane, taking ballroom dancing lessons, traveling, and exploring fun new activities!
