DeVeta was the first person to greet me at Heights Elementery when my family moved to TC in 1961, She asked me if I liked horses and a wonderful friendship was forged. Our pathways crossed over the years and it was always a pleasure learning about her adventures.
Deta, as known by her close friends had a very colorful life. I met Deta when we entered the first grade at the age of 6 and was by her side at the age of 63 when she passed from pancreatic cancer, with her son's Ronald and Greg Brandani. Deta loved life to the fullest and expected everyone around her to do the same. She never judged anyone by the way they lived and expected the same from others. She had two grandsons that she loved desperatly. She will truly be missed by many.
