Jessie S.Bell was a Highly respected Police Officer. He started his Law Enforcement career at Texas City Police Department and moved on to Houston Police I believe in 1973.
He became one of Houston Police's first group of Helicopter Pilots,He was Involved in many captures in his career and respected by all officers. His last years before his retirement he instructed the young Helicopter pilots Houston PD has now. He constantly came to many events that involved Texas City Police and never forgot his roots of Texas City. He even attended my retirement in 2003. Pete ( or Tweety Bird) as he was known to all passed away approx one year after his retirement. He worked in Law Enforcement some 30+ years. Texas City & Houston lost a fine Officer..
